Alot of people have asked me for the lyrics of my song “Amazing” so I am going to give them to you in this post. If anyone else would like some of the other lyrics to my songs just let me know. This one is a special one to our family because it’s about my brother Jimmer and all of the sucess he has had in his basketball career. He’s a good person too and I hope that these lyrics reflect how hard he has worked.

It’s been about 21 years, but back when you were younger/I did
everything I could as an older brother/to get you to understand that you
were given a gift so with each other we would muster up a plan to
succeed with one another/ there’s no wonder you would slowly start to
climb to success/but it wasn’t easy working hard/ was something that we
would stress/ so I pressed and pushed you harder/ because you really
impressed me when you told me that you wouldn’t stop till you were the
best/ oh yes/ so how could I let you settle for less/ and every time I
knocked you down/ it was all just a test/ but you got back up/ I could see
the dream was for the taking when you were only 5 years old because it
was truly amazing!

Remember when the media took notice/the local hero that you had
become, so now the focus was to keep you levelheaded/ you were bred
to be a superstar / but the most important thing is that you
never forget who you are/ be true to your heart…
newspaper headlines every day/ TV interviews/ and radio stations
coming your way/ the scouts all over the country flying in to watch you
play/ MVP awards/ trophies galore/ and it made me say/ you were
doing great/ but this is only the beginning/ don’t be satisfied /we have
to try to live out the dream/ we need to magnify the talent that you
have/ take it further and further and every time we tasted glory we
worked harder and harder…

the D1 level/ where you have succeeded at a level all the jealous people
said that you would never see /as for me,/ there’s no way in the world
that there could ever be a prouder older brother/ they said that you
were too white/ they said that you were too slow/ but we continue to
fight and ignite/ the type of fire that had you practicing nights/ when
everybody was partying/ you were keeping your sights on the dream,
/the NBA / I’ll never forget the day when I wrote you a contract that
would say/ that you would pay/ whatever price/, you looked at me with
fire in your eyes/ wrote your name upon the line/ a defining moment in
time… now it’s time.

TJ, this is some dope stuff. Your a talented musician man. This song “Amazing” really hit home for me. I’m an older brother of a kid who I’ve been preparing for the NFL since he was eight. He’s 13 now, and will be starting J.V. football as an 8th grader this fall. I’ve believed in and pushed him from the beginning; I’ve always been his biggest supporter and I know he’ll succeed. Besides the fact that I relate to the lyrics, the skill you have of putting it together is phenomenal. It’s good stuff! There needs to be more rap like this man! It’s inspiring and motivating, not just about hoes and how much money they have and how “gangster” they are. I would love to get an mp3 copy of this song. Is there any way that can happen? Anyway, keep putting out stuff like this and I know you’ll make it big yourself.

I admire the valuable information you offer in your articles. I will bookmark your blog and have my kids check up here often. I’m quite sure they will understand lots of new stuff right here than anybody else!
My uncle coached Jimmer in football and (although I’m sure he probably wishes he could have had him back for his senior year of football) he always explains how Jimmer’s work ethic is unbelievable and I couldn’t find anyone better to model my game and myself as an individual after better than your brother. 3 teammates and I watched Jimmer work out at Glens Falls last summer and he really motivated us as a group. This winter our team won the WASAREN league outright and ended up losing by 1 point in an overtime heart-breaker in the Class C final at the Civic Center to a team who went on to lose in the state championship. This was a direct result of watching Jimmer go hard in his workouts. We all put forth a great deal of effort in last year’s offseason and I hope you, Jimmer, and the Fredette family are aware of the motivation he gave the entire Hoosick Falls basketball team. The future looks bright for both you and Jimmer in the worlds of basketball and music!

i was watching the NCAA tourney and on the pre-game show Pat Forde had a small section reserved for a story about you and your brother. I decided to take a look at your song “Amazing”. After listening to the song one time, i was convinced that this was the best song ever made (and thats not an exaggeration). I will always root for you and your brother, and believe not only Jimmer but you too will become a star one day. Best of luck to you.
